What started as a dream, hard work, and a love for Filipino food became a small food truck with a big heart in the beautiful town of Ucluelet, BC.

My name is Leny, and my journey in Canada began in 2013 when I moved here searching for a better future and bigger opportunities. Like many immigrants, I started from the ground up, working long hours, learning new skills, and doing whatever it took to build a life for myself and my family.

Over the years, I worked in restaurants, learned from amazing chefs and coworkers, and spent countless hours serving the community while growing my cleaning business on the side.

But through everything, one thing always stayed close to my heart.

Cooking became more than simply preparing meals.

It became my way of sharing comfort, culture, and memories from home.

Every lumpia roll, every adobo dish, and every pancit tray reminds me of family gatherings, celebrations, laughter, and the warmth of Filipino hospitality.

This dream became even more meaningful when my husband, Ahmet, and I decided to build it together.

From planning and preparing food to supporting each other through stressful days and believing in the vision from the very beginning, this food truck became a symbol of our teamwork, love, faith, and shared dream for the future.

That passion inspired us to create Leny’s Rolling Lumpia, a food truck built with love, sacrifice, courage, and determination.

It is about representing Filipino culture, supporting our family, and showing others that dreams really can come true through hard work, faith, and perseverance.
